Joan B. Marcus

Joan Marcus, president of Joan B. Marcus Communications, helps businesses and nonprofits craft marketing communication strategies that deliver results. She is highly skilled in identifying the key strengths of a business or nonprofit and translating those into a compelling marketing message and impactful content. She has deep experience planning and developing content for websites, brochures, social media, blogs, all forms of business communications and proposals. In the nonprofit arena, Joan has successfully developed grant proposals to federal, state and local government agencies; private foundations; and corporate foundations. She has secured more than $14 million in funding for clients.

Joan is president of Turning Point of Lehigh Valley and has served on the board for close to five years in various capacities. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, a corporate partner of the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations and a volunteer at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Allentown, PA. Joan has served on the board of THE PROGRAM for Women & Families and the Small Business Council of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce where she was chairperson of the Marketing Committee. Joan is a graduate of The George Washington University and a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
