Center for Humanistic Change, Inc.
Client
The Center for Humanistic Change, Inc. gives people, especially youth, the knowledge and tools they need to make better-informed and more positive life choices. The ability to make healthy choices is critical when people face peer pressure, loss, painful transitions and other difficulties. Armed with positive skills, participants are better able to make healthy decisions and avoid destructive behaviors while building resiliency. The Center for Humanistic Change is dedicated to the implementation of evidence-based programming and curricula as well as successful programs developed in house. Drug and alcohol prevention programs remain a core service.
Our Work
When the Center for Humanistic Change embarked on a campaign to grow brand recognition, we assisted with a new mission statement, logo, tagline and style guide to ensure the new brand was consistently reinforced across all communication channels. More recently, while the Center for Humanistic Change sought a staff grant writer, we assisted with the development of a program case statement, grant writing and support during the search process.
Testimonial
The Center for Humanistic Change, Inc. has been fortunate to have Joan Marcus as a supporter of our work for many years. Because she is so invested in our mission, it was logical to reach out to Joan B. Marcus Communications when the organization was in need of marketing, writing and staffing services. With Joan’s guidance, our organization updated our logo. In addition, a style guide was developed with information about the logo, fonts, colors and editorial guidelines.
Because of Joan’s investment in understanding the big picture of our nonprofit, she was the perfect fit when we needed an extra hand with grant writing. Her close attention to detail provided refinement and clarity of proposal information. No detail was too small to address.
Recently, our organization engaged in a candidate search for a newly developed position. Joan worked with our staff in interview preparation, interviews and post interview discussions. Her additional perspective helped us to find the ideal candidate.
At the Center for Humanistic Change, we greatly value Joan’s understanding and support of our mission. Her personal investment, coupled with her top-notch skills, enhances the ability of our organization to meet the needs of the people we serve.
