Hispanic Center Lehigh Valley makes a difference in the lives of men, women and children living in South Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and throughout Northampton County as it seeks to fulfill its mission: To improve the quality of lives of Hispanic and other families by empowering them to become more self-sufficient, while promoting an intercultural understanding in the Lehigh Valley. Each year, Hispanic Center Lehigh Valley serves close to 9,000 individuals through the Basilio Huertas Senior Center; Community Empowerment Program for Adults; Community Empowerment Program for Students; Food Pantry; Women, Infants and Children; and the Fatherhood Initiative.

Our Work

Hispanic Center Lehigh Valley began working with Joan B. Marcus Communications to strengthen its grant development program. Initially, we developed detailed program case statements to drive the grant proposal process. Working closely with the Hispanic Center Lehigh Valley staff, we assisted with the management of the agency’s grant program, including research, grant proposal writing and reporting. In less than a year, we developed several successful grant proposals securing in excess of $200,000 including new funding streams.
